About

Curious how I got here?

I studied Multimedia Design and Development at Humber College.

After graduating, I continued self study, particularly during COVID, focusing on web standards and strengthening my design skills for the web. That progression led to several roles spanning design and development, including a role at Humber College, where I applied both design and technical skills in a professional environment.

As this role became more technical, I realized I needed to continue my studies as a software developer. Pursuing another computer science degree was not a practical option, so I chose The Odin Project, where my focus shifted toward front end development and software fundamentals. Multimedia design shaped how I understand user perception, interaction, and interface clarity, but I reached a point where design alone was limiting. I wanted to better understand how those ideas are implemented, maintained, and scaled in real systems.

My work now centers on translating design intent into functional, reliable code. My design background is not adjacent to development; it reinforces it by grounding technical decisions in user focused thinking and real constraints.
