Justin Bento - Full Stack Developer based in Toronto.

Hi, I’m Justin Bento. I build full-stack web applications using tools like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Astro.js, Tailwind CSS, Ruby on Rails, and PostgreSQL to create efficient digital products.

My journey in software development began in 2021 after completing the Multimedia Design and Development program at Humber College. After switching careers, I kept learning to code through The Odin Project because I understand that software development requires continuous practice and adaptation to build real skill over time. This has enabled me to apply my skills to real-world projects and to assist me in developing my previous design concepts into functional products.

As I’ve gotten better at programming my focus now is to on create code and products that are easy to maintain, and intuitive to use. Thanks to this mindset, I landed opportunities at the LifeLine Canada Foundation and Humber College. There, I gained hands-on experience and expanded my skills working across the stack, from designing accessible interfaces for mobile and desktop, to coding front-end components, and connecting and querying relational databases at scale.

Having recently completed a contract role at Humber College and finishing my volunteer position, I’m now seeking a new opportunity where I can contribute to a collaborative team, learn what your company needs, and grow.
